WHY “returning home” ?
The word returning suggests coming back to a place we have known before. Home is not simply a destination— it is the experience of living in truth, connection with our fellows, and conscious relationship with God.
The Twelve Steps are a journey of returning. As fear gives way to faith, isolation to community, and self-will to surrender, we discover that what we have been seeking was never far away. We are not becoming someone new; we are uncovering who we have always been.
